BOOKED!

Finally Sam and I, booked our flights last thursday, we leave on Feb 2nd. Feeling abit nervous now. just got to save like crazy, the more money the more fun.

Had my injection!

I had an oppointment with the nurse today for what i thought was a chat about what drugs i would need for going abroad. I ended up getting an injection for typhoid and hepatitis B i think.
One step closer, it also helps when i mysteriously receive a large quantity of money in my bank for no known reason.

Australia Talk

I Went to STA travel the other night for an Australia talk, it was very informative but also made me think Shit! ive got loads to do, but the guy told me not to worry and a lot of people don't get sorted untill a month before.
SKYPE
I found out about this new skype phone, which i thought would save me alot of money in calls back to the UK, but apparently you still have to pay roaming charges which sucks. But i also got told about an application you can download called fring, which can be found fring.com. Its supposed to save you money, we will see.

I found a web site that lets you create your very own Bathing Ape Character, i thought i would go with the suit and ICE CREAM trainers.

After endless attempts at trying to organize my Skate video I've decided to drop it and maybe organize one when i get back from my travels. Sooooo instead I've decided to make this blog about my travels. So here we go....

I attended an Australia meeting last night about activities different travel cards and booking details, alot to take in and 2 months till i go! a bit nervous.

Impressed with the music, not witht he rain

I went to Ians last night, (the music guy) and listen to some tracks he created on his high tech equiptment, with a little feedback and ejustment it was what I was after, he is suplying me with little sound effects and fills to add to titles and transitions.
I want to start filming!!!!!! I was suposed to meet with Clark and Luke (two of the skaters), yesterday after work, but it had to rain didnt it, and because of the days getting darker there is limited time to film. I have plans this weekend and Clark is working all weekend so I will try to fit bits and bobs in the short time in the evenings.

Not going well...

I'm not impressed, after preparing to film on saturday night i had trouble contacting the skaters on sunday morning and havnt heard from them since. Has this ended before it starts? hopefully not, i have a lot of ideas and plan to get them on screen. the good news is i can feel good about helping someone with there college coursework. If this projects gets up and running it will give Ian the oportunity to hand a section of it in for his music for film. Good for him.
I will try to arrange another shoot for sometime in the week or maybe saturday.

An old friend of mine has offered to get envolved and create some themed music to go along with the film. He is very musically talented and has already completed some tracks, I havn't had heard them yet so i will let you know.

Filming starts on sunday!

I've decided I need a hobby, and with the career I'm looking for this would look good on my show reel for future employers. I've made amature skate videos in the past but with my new qualifications I aim to create a near professional feature length film, with the abingdon skate team.
I've arranged for filming to start on sunday. They are organising the spots and I will just bring the camera.
